Whitesnake released The Purple Album so I watched a behind the scenes video. Out of 5 band members all 4 colour personality types are present!
If you’re a rock fan, you may know that Whitesnake have released The Purple Album, a tribute to David Coverdale’s days as lead singer with Deep Purple, so last night, Neil and I sat and watched the ‘Behind the scenes making the album’ video.
Even though I’ve been teaching this stuff for years, I’m still amazed when the bass guitarist proves to be yet another Blue personality type, and how out of five band members, all 4 colour personality types are present. The latest Whitesnake line-up has one Red (well, there’s only room for one, isn’t there?), two Blues, one Green and one Yellow. I was literally just writing about this phenomenon for my colour analysis masterclass ‘Colour – a psychological preference’.
Colour personality types
Years ago I created an analogy using The Beatles to show what it takes to have a band that continues to have success for absolutely years – 4 men, 4 different colour personality types. So for the masterclass, I expanded on that to include another hugely successful band, The Rolling Stones, as they also always have a mix of the 4 types. Uncanny, isn’t it?
In the colour analysis masterclass ‘Colour – a psychological preference’ we look at:
- How colours play a crucial role in the expression of personality and emotion
- Why you need to ‘address’ your client’s psychological preferences to be able to dress her body
- Discover your own Colour Psychology
- More about the 4 different colour personalities
- How to turn your business around just by knowing your own colour psychological preferences
There’s a quiz to complete, a workbook to get you thinking how to use this stuff yourself, and my analogies about The Beatles and The Rolling Stones are already in the notes. Oh, and you’ll need a tin hat as I rather vent my spleen too!
And that’s only one of the masterclasses in the Fabulous Colour Academy. A fresh, new look at all things colour and style.
