The preparation work for a Colour Analysis course reminded me of ‘colour for life’, how just having the skill of colour analysis is for life, you can take your skills anywhere.
I had a spot on my nose! Right slap bang in the middle of my nose too! The pressure was clearly mounting for the live event and filming for the Colour Analysis Explained. I never normally get spots at all. I was just a bit over-excited, that’s all, as I hadn’t given myself an opportunity to speak, teach and encourage in a long while. Sometimes, I can be a bit of a silly moo!
I was busily printing hair colour charts for the Hair Colour Analysis on day 2. It’s always so much easier to work with hair stylists & hair colourists when you’re both speaking and understanding the same language.
My prep for the Colour Psychology on day 3 got out of hand and I had to rope myself in. With all the courses, knowledge and practice I’ve personally had over the years, I could have spent all three days on personality, understanding your client, finding out who you are and who you really ought to be.
Now there’s a thought!
And working through all the theory and the myriad of different methods of diagnosing seasonal and tonal Colour Analysis reminded me of how colour saved my life, and how just having the skill of colour analysis is for life. It’s a bit like being a trained hairdresser, I suppose. You can take your skills anywhere and, with my methods, you can do this without a drape in sight!
Colour could change your life
In fact, colour might even save your life, like it did mine.
It could certainly give you an extra income or replace the one you’ve got.
